VENTURA--If you’re in search of seasonal fun today, drive north for Ventura’s 18th annual Holiday Street Fair, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Main Street. Featured: More than 500 artisans, kids’ activities, food and entertainment. Free. Mark your calendars for the 18th annual Parade of Lights in Ventura Harbor on Dec. 17. PETALUMA--A Los Posadas procession, carolers, dancers and early California foods are highlights at the Adobe Luminaria Fiesta, 2 p.m. Dec. 10. The free event concludes with the lighting of 1,000 luminaria at dusk. At the Petaluma Adobe State Historic Park, 3325 Adobe Road. JAMESTOWN--Ride the rails with the Big Man in the red suit on one of Railtown’s Santa Trains. Train rides with Santa Claus through the Gold Country are offered on Dec. 10, 11 and 18. SAN LUIS OBISPO--Decemberfest brings a sparkling line-up of holiday music, dance, exhibits and activities to venues all over the city, Dec. 8-11. Among the offerings is Street Fest, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 10 on Garden Street. A Victorian tea, a presentation of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” a cookie bazaar and many other events are planned.
