Woman Crashes Car Into Pole; Grandson, 3, Killed
FULLERTON —
A 3-year-old passenger was killed Wednesday when his grandmother crashed her car into a utility pole, police said.
The 63-year-old Fullerton woman drifted off the road on Rosecrans Avenue near the Ralph B. Clark Regional Park about 12:40 p.m., Police Sgt. Neal Baldwin said. The boy was strapped into a child safety seat but the car struck the pole on his side, Baldwin said.
The woman was hospitalized at UCI Medical Center in Orange and was expected to live, Baldwin said.
