Michael Meeks made a three-point shot and Darrell Barley made two free throws in the final 13 seconds as Canisius rallied from a 20-point deficit to beat No. 13 Cincinnati, 72-69, Friday night at Cincinnati.
Cincinnati (3-2) opened a 42-22 lead a minute into the second half. The Golden Griffins (4-2) made it a game with a 15-2 run midway through the half. Craig Wise had two three-point shots to start the spurt.
The Bearcats turned the ball over 13 times in the second half.
No. 22 New Mexico State 74, New Mexico 65--Thomas Wyatt made three three-pointers over a three-minute stretch in the second half for the Aggies at Las Cruces, N.M.
Wyatt finished with 18 points and and Rodney Walker had 15 for New Mexico State (6-2). New Mexico is 3-3.
