President of College Board Is Reelected
The governing board of the Rancho Santiago Community College District has reelected Charles W. (Pete) Maddox as its president.
The board elected Maddox in a unanimous vote at its regular meeting Monday night. During the same meeting, board members also named Enriqueta L. Ramos vice president and Lawrence R. Labrado clerk.
The president runs board meetings and represents the district at special functions. The vice president fills in when the president is absent. The clerk certifies board actions and signs documents, including resolutions and minutes, said Vicki Stevens, the board’s secretary.
The selection of board officers for the next year followed a swearing-in ceremony for Labrado, Maddox and Shirley A. Ralston, a trio of incumbents who were returned to office in the November election.
