Retirement Board Director Appointed
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors appointed William W. Wilson as director of the county Employees Retirement Assn. on Tuesday.
Wilson, a former Bank of America manager, was appointed to a three-year term as director of the nine-member board, which oversees the association’s $800 million of investments in real estate, stocks and bonds. The panel also decides job-related disability cases.
There are four employee representatives elected by the association’s membership and four representatives appointed by the Board of Supervisors. County Treasurer-Tax Collector Harold Pittman serves as an ex-officio member.
The members appointed by the supervisors receive $100 for each meeting they attend. The association’s board usually meets twice a month.
