Knife-Wielding Man Robs Thrift Store
A man wielding a seven-inch knife stole $250 in cash Tuesday from the Easter Seal Society thrift store in Ventura, police said.
The unidentified man showed his knife to store workers, then put the cash in the pocket of his knee-length, tan-colored coat, Ventura Police Officer Graham Jeffrey said.
The robbery occurred about 4:30 p.m. at the store, 248 E. Main St., police said.
The suspect was last seen headed east on Main. Police said he was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with some facial hair, sunglasses and a knit cap.
