LOS ANGELES : Sign-Ups Begin for 10th Annual Marathon
Registration for the 10th annual Los Angeles Marathon has begun.
The marathon, scheduled for March 5, is expected to surpass the 1994 participation of more than 21,000. Participants may select from a 26.2-mile run, a marathon wheelchair division, and a combined bike ride-3.1-mile run.
The course begins at the Los Angeles Coliseum and winds through Downtown, Hollywood, the Wilshire District and back to the Coliseum.
Participants may select from 52 charities to represent in the marathon. Since 1985, the city’s marathon has grown to be the nation’s second largest and the world’s fourth largest.
