VENTURA : 3 Women Sought in Robbery of Man, 82
An 82-year-old Ventura man was robbed at gunpoint when he let a woman into his house to use the bathroom, authorities said Monday.
According to police, a woman knocked on the door of the man’s house in the 400 block of South Jordan Street about 8:30 p.m. Sunday and asked if she could use the bathroom.
Once the resident let the woman into the house, she was followed by two other women, and one of them pulled a gun and demanded the man’s wallet, police said.
The trio fled after they took the victim’s wallet, authorities said. A police investigation is continuing.
