Police Identify Slain Man, 25
Los Angeles police on Monday identified a man who was shot and killed over the weekend as Alex Aguirre, 25, of Sylmar.
Aguirre was found with a bullet wound to the chest early Saturday morning at an apartment complex in the 15200 block of Nordhoff Street in North Hills, Los Angeles Police Detective Marshall White said. Aguirre was pronounced dead at the scene.
White said the shooting may have been drug-related and that detectives are searching for witnesses.
