Replacement Players a Sound Investment?
I may be in the minority, but I think the use of replacement players is the best thing that could happen to baseball.
Look at today’s major league rosters and salaries. How many of those journeymen players would be missed? The strike is like a stock market correction. I say get the best players available, suit ‘em up and play ball.

Major league baseball owners kept raising the salaries of their players year after year, making them millionaires. Then they wonder why the players don’t want to or need to work. How did the owners become so rich if they’re not brighter than that?
