Murphy Holds Lead Over Floyd
Bob Murphy shot a two-under-par 70 Saturday to take a one-shot lead over Raymond Floyd into the final round of the Senior PGA Tour’s IntelliNet Challenge.
Murphy had three birdies and just one bogey at the Vineyards Country Club, but wasn’t satisfied.
“Easily, I had at least six putts that I thought were in, where I looked up and the ball was rolling well, had plenty of speed and then the last few feet just stopped,” said Murphy, who leads Floyd by one and Mike Hill and Rocky Thompson by three.
