CHICAGO —
Tim Gullikson, 43, a former player and current coach of top-ranked Pete Sampras, is being treated for a brain tumor but is expected to be able to return to tennis soon.
“After undergoing a series of tests, Tim Gullikson was found to have a small brain tumor,” said Gullikson’s doctor, neurosurgeon James Ausman. “This type of tumor responds very well to treatment. Tim is at home, is doing well and is expected to return to coaching tennis in the near future.”
