MID-CITY : Council Candidates to Discuss the Issues
Candidates for the 10th District City Council seat will appear at a public question-and-answer forum Saturday sponsored by the Southwest Assn. of Neighborhoods.
Incumbent Nate Holden, attorney Stan Sanders, who ran in the 1992 mayoral election, and Kevin Ross, a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney, are competing in the April 11 primary.
Topics at the forum will include development, transportation, building and safety issues, and an anticipated new police station.
The free event begins at 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria of the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies, 5931 W. 18th St. Refreshments will be served.
