In the Glendora tournament:

Canyon 16, Fullerton 9--Scott Redfox hit a third-inning grand slam for Canyon (6-1) in the consolation round.

In the Redlands Calvary Chapel tournament:

Southern California Christian 8, Redlands Calvary Chapel 2--Mark Caballero allowed two runs and two hits and struck out 10 for Southern California Christian (3-4). Josh Cameron had four hits, scored three runs and stole three bases for the Flames.

In nonleague baseball:

El Dorado 3-7, Newhall Hart 0-6--Jerry Miller reached first on a fielder’s choice with the bases loaded to drive in Matt Swan with the winning run in the second game for host El Dorado (7-1). Miller had two hits and earned his first victory, pitching one inning of relief.

La Quinta 12-10, Savanna 2-2--Mark Ukleja was five of eight in the doubleheader with two home runs and five runs batted in for visiting La Quinta (8-1-1).

Ocean View 8-4, Huntington Beach 7-5--Jeff Bartusick had an RBI single in the top of the seventh inning to lead Huntington Beach (5-3) in the second game of a doubleheader.

Elmer Roldan had a pinch-hit, two-run single in the sixth inning to give Ocean View (3-4) the lead in the first game. The single came at the end of two consecutive four-run innings for Seahawks.
