Irvine Valley Defeats Whitworth in Tennis

Irvine Valley won five of six singles matches and went on to defeat Whitworth College of Spokane, Wash., 7-2, in a men’s tennis match Tuesday at Irvine Valley.

Francisco Bruni of Irvine defeated Pat Dreves, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 1 singles and Leon Jakimic defeated Sean Weston, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 2 singles for the Lasers (8-4).
