Eight Women Sign With UCI Soccer

Marine Cano, UC Irvine’s director of soccer and women’s coach, has signed eight players to letters of intent, the school announced Wednesday.

Included in the group are defender Pam Prine, the state community college player of the year from Cypress, and three Olympic Development Program athletes: forward Kori Zimmerman of La Canada, midfielder Simone Ferrara of South Torrance and defender Jaime Reichenbach of San Diego Scripps Ranch.

Also signing letters were forward Nicole Bucciarelli, a two-time City Section player of the year from Van Nuys Grant; Jennifer LaFemina, the Southern Section Division IV goalkeeper of the year from Thousand Oaks La Reina; and forward Michelle Perez and defender Kelly Dohmann, both from Mater Dei.
