LOS ALAMITOS : Choral, Instrumental Groups Seek Members

The city Fine Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission is encouraging residents to join the community’s new choral group, jazz/swing orchestra and concert band.
There is no fee to join these city-sponsored groups, which have been meeting on a weekly basis for more than a month.
The choral group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Los Alamitos Community Center, 10911 Oak St. The concert band rehearses from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays at the center. The jazz/swing orchestra meets from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursdays.
