Pacoima Man Shot Dead at Door
A 27-year-old Pacoima man was shot to death Thursday outside his home in the 9800 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard after a brief conversation with a gunman who came to his door, authorities said.
Police did not make public the name of the victim pending notification of relatives, said LAPD Lt. Joseph Garcia.
The man, shot at least once in the chest, was pronounced dead at the scene, Garcia said.
“We have witnesses who heard conversation, but they don’t know what it was about,” said Detective Frank Bishop.
Police have established no motive and have made no arrests in the shooting, authorities said.
