House Tax Bill: It’s About Time

“Parents and Seniors to Get Best Breaks” (April 7) is clear, to-the-point, easy reading in simple language. It helps U.S. taxpayers get a better understanding of tax cuts passed by the House. It also helps cut through misleading political rhetoric by Democrats and other commentators in the media.
It’s about time heavily burdened U.S. taxpayers get to keep some money. Sure will help financial needs in the family.
And, after the spring break, I’m sure the House will get to work on more spending cuts, particularly corporate welfare and $323 billion budgeted for “other.”
The Senate should think real hard about changes to the House tax bill.
