CHARLESTON, S.C. —
A small earthquake rattled dishes and knocked some pictures from walls Monday. No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
The quake’s estimated magnitude was 3.9, said the U.S. Geological Survey in Golden, Colo.
It was the strongest quake in the area since one that measured 4.1 in 1992 and was felt up to 100 miles away.
