ALHAMBRA: Community meetings will be held during May to solicit redistricting options for the Alhambra City and High School District Board of Education. The predicted loss of 1,300 students by the 1997-98 school year through the unification of the San Gabriel School District will make it necessary to redistribute and balance the enrollment among the three district high schools. Meetings will be held Monday at Alhambra High School, May 17 at Garfield Elementary School, May 22 at Mark Keppel High and May 30 at San Gabriel High. All meetings will be at 7 p.m. in the school auditoriums.
