BREA : Portion of Birch Street Closed During Repairs

A section of Birch Street will be closed through May 19 while work crews replace asphalt and install underground utilities. The street has been closed between Orange Avenue and Brea Boulevard since Monday.
The work on Birch is part of a reconstruction and widening project for Brea Boulevard from Imperial Highway north to the railroad tracks.
Motorists are being directed to detours by electronic reader boards along Birch Street and Brea Boulevard.
