Two former replacement players were called up to the majors Friday, making them the first strikebreakers to suit up alongside regular players who were on strike for 232 days.

Outfielder Ron Mahay was called up by Boston, and pitcher Ron Rightnowar joined the Milwaukee Brewers.

“I’ll talk to the guys,” said Rightnowar, 1-1 with a 3.78 ERA and nine saves in 15 appearances for triple-A New Orleans. “[But] I think out of respect for them I’ll give them their space and let them get to know me. I’ll just focus on baseball.”
