LOS ALAMITOS : Ah Sigh Is Likely Favorite in La Primera Del Ano Derby

Champion Ah Sigh will draw much of the attention at Los Alamitos tonight as she tries to win the $102,000 La Primera Del Ano Derby.

Ah Sigh, last year’s champion 2-year-old filly, set the top qualifying time of 19.83 seconds for the derby, easily winning her trial on May 6. The Grade 1 event, the eighth race on the 13-race program, would be Ah Sigh’s fourth stakes victory. First post is 7:15 p.m.
