A MOVING EXPERIENCE FOR JASON BROOKS

Jason Brooks, who plays Peter Blake on “Days of Our Lives,” and his wife, Corinne, recently took up residence in their new San Fernando Valley home and have been coping with the perils of moving ever since.

“Right now, we’re living out of boxes,” says Brooks, noting that a lot of essential items are somewhere around them. “There’s a lot of things we can’t find, but the worst thing of all is the remote for the TV. I consider the TV broken without it. I almost threw it away.”

According to Brooks, life without a remote is tolerable during the early hours, but it becomes unbearable at night. “Corinne and I sit there right before going to bed: ‘Come on, just go and turn the TV off.’ ‘No, you turn it off.’ We bicker about it for like five minutes.”

Matthew Ashford, who took over the role of Dr. Tom Hardy on “General Hospital” for three weeks last February, returns to the role this month. There was no mention of just how long Ashford will be with the show, but Tom’s return is sure to cut into the new romantic relationship his estranged wife, Simone (Felecia Bell), has with Justus Ward (Joseph C. Phillips).

Between stints on “General Hospital,” Ashford enjoyed a vacation with his family before he caught up with his fellow cast members in New York for the Daytime Emmy broadcast last month.

And If you thought the Lois Cerullo/Ned Ashton (Rena Sofer and Wallace Kurth) wedding in Port Charles was going to come off without a hitch, think again. There will be a little complication by the name of Danny Zacharowitz, who will arrive in town just before the wedding. Danny, who is being played by David Gianopoulos, just happens to be an old boyfriend of Lois’.

Another daytime returnee, Christopher Marcantel, has reprised his former role of Curtis Alden on “Loving.” The actor will stick around for about three months. And add Australian actor Corey Page to the cast of “Loving” beginning late this month. Page will be playing Richard, a New York City based tabloid reporter who comes to Corinth to do a story on Steffi Brewster (Amelia Heinle), who is being stalked by a mystery person.
