Man Killed When Car Plunges Off Road
An unidentified man died Saturday when his car plunged into a steep ravine off West Potrero Road.
The crash occurred at 5:08 p.m. on the Long Grade section of the road, east of the Camarillo State Hospital. The Sheriff’s Department had not determined the accident’s cause Saturday night.
Search and rescue specialists from the department worked hours after dark, trying to pull the man’s body up from the ravine.
