SANTA ANA : Pedestrian Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver

A Santa Ana man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Sunday night as he crossed a street near his home, police said.
Mark Flannary, 29, was crossing at 900 S. Raitt St. at around 11:20 p.m. when a car traveling north on Raitt hit him and left the scene, police said. Authorities believe Flannary was hit a second time by another car, although they are uncertain how many cars were involved.
Flannary was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead at 1:55 a.m.
No suspects have been found, Investigator Luis Torres said.
