Central Los Angeles : HOMELESS BLUES
The grassy natural amphitheater surrounding the Unity Arts Center in Westlake was shared by 200 homeless people, music lovers and residents last weekend who showed up to listen to blues and poetry at a special concert for the homeless.
The event was sponsored by the arts center and local musicians. Profits went to various groups that help the homeless, including a group working to secure housing for them.
