If You Don’t Trust Him, Why Did You Sign Him?
First, the manager of Darryl Strawberry’s minor league team decides not to send him to road games because he doesn’t trust him to behave. Now George Steinbrenner wants Strawberry to donate part of his salary to charity and have a bank handle his finances.
Employers do not hire people they can’t trust. This proves, once again, how far out of touch with reality baseball is.
