Woman’s Body Found Near Road in Lancaster
LANCASTER —
A sheriff’s deputy who was called to investigate a report of illegal dumping found a woman’s body in tall grass by the side of a road, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Saturday.
The fully clad body was discovered about 10:30 a.m. Saturday near 53rd Street West and Avenue K-15, said Sgt. Richard Dinsmoor.
The cause of death was not immediately known, Dinsmoor said. Homicide investigators were still at the scene Saturday night.
