Jim Dedrick, a right-handed pitcher from Huntington Beach High, Orange Coast and Southern California College, was called up Friday by the Orioles. He had a 4-0 record with a 1.79 earned-run average for Rochester (N.Y.), the Orioles’ triple-A team.
