Man Takes Cash From Ventura Liquor Store
VENTURA —
A man in his 20s robbed a west Ventura liquor store at gunpoint Wednesday night, Ventura police said.
Police said the robber entered Clark’s Liquor in the 1700 block of Ventura Avenue about 8:15 p.m. He reached behind the counter, grabbed the clerk by the shirt, pointed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register, police said.
The robber then escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
Three customers were inside during the robbery. No one was injured, police said.
