Krone to Wed Former Track Security Guard

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Jockey Julie Krone will wed Mathew Muzikar today in front of about 480 friends and family at First Baptist Church in Saratoga.
The wedding matches the 4-foot-10 Krone with the 6-4 Muzikar, who at was a starter for the Saratoga High School basketball team in 1988.
She’ll race less than two hours before wedding time.
The two met five years ago when Muzikar was a security guard at Saratoga Race Course, but did not begin to date until 17 months ago.
Muzikar, 25, a former sports producer and reporter at an ABC affiliate in Albany, N.Y., currently works for Major League Baseball Productions.
