MOORPARK : District to Begin School Registration

School’s still out for summer, but not for much longer and the Moorpark School District is starting student registration for the coming year.

Registration will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all schools until the beginning of the school year.

The first day of school is Sept. 6.

The district is asking parents to register children prior to the start of school.

All students must have a health checkup prior to starting the year.

The Moorpark district also has a strict immunization policy, and requires a complete record of shots for all students.

Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old by Dec. 2, 1995, and parents must bring a birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport, or affidavit of parent or guardian as proof.
