Boy Shot at Motel Window Dies
A 13-year-old North Hills boy has died after being shot last week, Los Angeles police said Monday.
Antonio Gutierrez died Sunday after being hit in the torso early Thursday as he stood by an open window in a motel, Detective Marshall White said.
He and his mother, sister and brother were staying at the Travel Inn in the 8500 block of Sepulveda Boulevard in preparation for a move to Los Angeles, White said.
Police have no suspects in the shooting, which they said may be gang-related.
