OXNARD : Motorcyclist, 34, Killed in Accident
A Canyon Country man died in Oxnard after he was thrown from his motorcycle near Channel Islands and Harbor boulevards.
Tord Olsson, 34, was riding his motorcycle south on Harbor Boulevard about 7:45 p.m. Saturday when he lost control at the turn onto Channel Islands Boulevard.
The motorcycle struck the curb, tossing Olsson into the street.
He suffered chest injuries, possibly from striking a light pole in the center divider, Oxnard police said. He was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he died at 8:19 p.m.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and police have found no witnesses.
