Dr. Philip DiSaia, head of gynecological oncology at UCI Medical Center in Orange and a professor of obstetrics, gynecology and radiology, has been elected chairman of the gynecological division of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He was also named chairman of the committee on sub-specialties and was made a member of the organization’s executive committee.
DiSaia, a UC Irvine faculty member since 1977, is also deputy director of the UCI Clinical Cancer Center.
