This Dodger Sellout at Expense of Fans
Let the NFL be warned. Peter O’Malley is not fan-friendly. He is fan-unfriendly and fan-desperate. First the cheap seats were made available for Dodger season tickets. Then half-season tickets (with postseason privileges) were offered. Now a measly $150 deposit for next year’s season tickets buys you postseason privileges for this year .
I’ve been a season-ticket holder for three years. Now I’m told I can buy tickets to only one World Series game because there aren’t enough tickets to go around. Hogwash! The only reason they can’t offer me tickets to all seven games (in case of divine intervention) is because my tickets are being used as incentives to draw fair-weather fans and ticket scalpers. If the Dodgers can’t be loyal to me, why should I be loyal to them?
