North Hills : Man Arrested in Neighbor's Fall

A 45-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday with a fractured skull after he was apparently thrown from a third-floor apartment balcony in North Hills, police said.

David Littlejohn was reported in serious condition at Northridge Hospital Medical Center after landing on a brick walkway, police said.

Littlejohn was involved in an altercation between a group of neighbors that turned into a brawl at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. He was thrown over the balcony during the melee, according to Lt. Don Farrell of the LAPD's Van Nuys Division.

A neighbor, Marvin Siliezar, was arrested and booked for attempted murder.
