Authorities on Monday identified a 33-year-old man who was killed by a stray bullet Sunday, and also named the man suspected of the attack in which two people died.

Harvey Dell Alexander Jr., 19, of Palmdale is wanted for allegedly gunning down Willie Perkins Jr., 24, and Ladislao Jacobo, a bystander who was walking down a Palmdale street while Alexander was firing on Perkins, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Benita Nichol said.

Alexander and Perkins were arguing at 5th Street East and Avenue Q-6 on Sunday afternoon, Nichol said, when Alexander pulled out a gun. Perkins fled in his car as Alexander fired at him. A stray bullet struck Jacobo, Nichol said.

Perkins was hit several times as he drove off. His car crashed into a parked car a few blocks away. He died at the scene.

Jacobo died later at a local hospital.

Alexander was described as a black male, 5 feet, 4 inches, 160 pounds, with no hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, tennis shoes and black jeans.
