Three teen-agers accused of carrying out a Pomona bank robbery last month during which a teller was shot to death will be arraigned on murder charges today in Municipal Court, a prosecutor said.

Derrick Wilson, 18, of Fontana, Bobby Cortez White, 17, and Jamon Carr, 17, both of Los Angeles, were each charged with one count of murder, attempted murder and attempted robbery Wednesday, Deputy Dist. Atty. Hyatt Seligman said.

Teller Teresa Hernandez, 35, of Riverside was killed in the Aug. 22 robbery after three masked gunmen entered the Chino Valley Bank on Garey Avenue and demanded money. A guard was also fired upon.

Despite the youths’ ages, a judge recently ruled that they must be tried as adults. All three are being held without bail.

The youths’ cases will be combined with that of Kareem Jamai Brown, 22, who has already been arraigned on similar charges and is set to appear in court again Oct. 17. As an adult, Brown could face the death penalty because he is charged with murder during commission of another felony.
