Gordiouk Keys Ice Dog Win

Viktor Gordiouk had two goals and an assist as the Ice Dogs defeated the Houston Aeros, 4-2, Friday night in an International Hockey League game.

Ice Dog goalie David Littman stopped 18 of 20 shots. The Ice Dogs also allowed only 20 shots on goal, below their league-leading average of 25.6.

Houston led, 2-0, on goals by Vadim Slivchenko and Mike Maurice, but the Ice Dogs responded with four consecutive goals to win their third road game in a row. The Aeros are winless in four games.

Dwayne Norris had the first goal for the Ice Dogs at the end of the first. Gordiouk scored a short-handed goal at 9:42 of the second to tie the score.
