SMALL FACES: Me’Shell Ndege-Ocello is not only at work on the follow-up to her acclaimed 1993 debut album but also performed on sessions for a Chaka Khan album, tentatively titled “Dare to Love Me,” that’s due in March. . . .
Rap trio Immature (whose members, including “Sister, Sister” sitcom regular Batman, are now 14) is set with a new album, “We Got It,” due Dec. 5. The kids--and their tutors--will embark on a national concert tour in February. . . .
Vanessa Williams, Diana King, Robin S. and Changing Faces are among the R&B; divas signed on for a tribute to the Holland-Dozier-Holland writing and production team, best known for such Motown hits as the Supremes’ “Stop! In the Name of Love” and the Four Tops’ “Reach Out I’ll Be There.” . . .
The Gin Blossoms just finished a new album, due Feb. 15. The band, which has been added along with the Meat Puppets to the R.E.M. show Nov. 4 at the Blockbuster Pavilion in Devore, will play a Nov. 5 show in its hometown of Phoenix to benefit Camp Hakuna Matata, a project for families coping with AIDS and HIV.
