THOUSAND OAKS : Workshop to Aid in Seeking Citizenship
A new Latino group in Thousand Oaks will host a workshop Saturday for people who want to become American citizens and need help with the application process.
The Hispanic Organization for Personal Excellence was formed this summer as a nonprofit community service group. This is the first in a series of workshops the group plans to sponsor.
The session will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Paschal’s Baylon School, 154 E. Janss Road, in Thousand Oaks.
Fees are $50 for El Concilio del Condado de Ventura to help process applications, including fingerprinting and photographs, and $95 for the federal government, payable by check or money order.
