HUNTINGTON BEACH : Golden West Officials Urge Early Enrollment

Enrollment applications for the winter semester are now being accepted at Golden West College, and officials have urged potential students to apply early.

"First-time students or those returning to college after at least a one-semester absence can avoid waiting in lines and closed classes by applying early," said Lori Thomas, a spokeswoman for the community college. "Registration appointments will be made in the order of applications received by new and re-entry students. Late applicants risk long registration lines and closed classes."

Application forms may be picked up at the college's Admissions and Records Office on Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The college is located near Golden West Street and Edinger Avenue.
