Lamond Murray scored 19 points and former Nebraska standout Eric Piatkowski added 16 as the Clippers defeated the Chicago Bulls, 104-101, in an exhibition Friday at Lincoln, Neb.

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen each scored 22 points for the Bulls (4-3). Dennis Rodman was ejected with nine minutes remaining in the third quarter after receiving his second technical foul.

Rookie Brent Barry made four of five shots and scored 15 points for the Clippers (3-3).

Tim Breaux scored 21 of his 24 points in the second half to lead the defending NBA champion Houston Rockets to a 115-103 victory over the Lakers in the New Orleans Superdome.

Nick Van Exel led the Lakers with 23 points. Cedric Ceballos had 20 and Corie Blount 12 on six-for-six shooting.

The Rockets, playing without injured center Hakeem Olajuwon and guard Sam Cassell, finished with a 6-2 exhibition record. The Lakers (3-4) finish their exhibition schedule at Dallas tonight.
