Key Question for Airport Officials
* I was less than charmed to read “Quick Takeoff Envisioned for Flights at Point Mugu” on Oct. 10.
The Point Mugu Regional Airport Authority still appears to be made up of elected officials from Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Ventura and the county.
The question I would like to ask, and would like every other registered voter in Camarillo and the Santa Rosa Valley to ask, is directed to the members of the airport authority and to our local elected officials: Why isn’t the one developed area on the incoming flight plan represented?
If the Camarillo City Council has time to consider sending letters of protest to local movie theaters showing NC-17 films, its members ought to be able to bring this issue up right away.
