Fullerton Man Arrested After Accident Injures 7

A 23-year-old Fullerton man was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving Saturday night after a three-car collision that caused minor injuries to seven people, including two La Habra police officers, authorities said Sunday.

Luis Gutierrez Urrutia allegedly caused the collision at the intersection of Euclid Street and Grace Avenue at 9:54 p.m. when his Pontiac Firebird rear-ended another car and knocked it into a police car carrying a gang unit detective and a deputy probation officer, said Sgt. Keri Wilson.

Urrutia and six others suffered minor injuries and were treated at local hospitals, Wilson said.

After being treated, Urrutia was booked into La Habra City Jail, Wilson said.
