Man Dies in Apparent Gang Dispute

ARLETA — An 18-year-old Arleta man was fatally injured early Sunday in an apparent gang-related dispute, Los Angeles police said.
Officers found David Vasquez, who lived in the 9400 block of Urbana Avenue, near his residence about 1:20 a.m. suffering from unspecified wounds, said Lt. Joe Hiltner of the Foothill Division.
Hiltner said Vasquez was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said details surrounding the slaying were sketchy. The exact motive remained unknown late Sunday and there were no suspects, police said.
