ROSSMOOR : Girl Fondled During Apparent Burglary
An 11-year-old girl awoke Tuesday morning to a burglar touching her on the chest, but he fled when she screamed, authorities said.
The man had apparently entered the home on Angler Lane about 1:40 a.m. by removing the screen from an open living room window, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Ron Wilkerson said.
“It appears there was a burglary in progress, and this was something that happened in the course of it,” he said.
The burglar fled out the back door. So far, police are unsure whether anything was taken from the home.
The man was described as white, 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-4, with a thin build, a shaved head and a light-colored goatee.
